Service Agreement
GENERAL
The
company shall provide the customer with regular
housekeeping services. The said services shall be
provided in accordance with the customer’s
requirements and the company’s cleaning
specifications. Completion of work within the cleaning
specifications is limited by the service time agreed per
visit. The company shall not be held liable for job
incompletion due to insufficient time allocated for the
job tasks.
OPERATING
DAYS & HOURS
The
service operating hours are between 8 am and 5.30 pm Monday
to Friday. Saturday is between 8am and 1pm. Day and time
of service are to be fixed. There is no service on
Sundays and public holidays. Public holidays include the
eves of Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year.
Service
outside the operating hours is subject to worker’s
availability and the customer shall reimburse the worker
with taxi fares from and back to their homes.
CANCELLATION
OF SERVICE
If
the customer is overseas, the company shall continue to
service the premise as scheduled and agreed upon unless
the customer direct otherwise with a minimum of 3 days
notice. The company reserves the right to impose
cancellation charges as follows:
-With
less than 6 hours notice: 50% payment.
-With less than an hour, no notice or if place is
unavailable for cleaning: Full payment.
The
company shall compensate the customer with another visit
on an agreed date and time should the assigned worker is
not able to render the service due to unforeseen
circumstances accompanied by documentary proof.
WORK
GUARANTEE
The
company is committed towards the quality of work done.
The customer shall inform the company within 48 hours if
the work is not carried out according to specifications.
EARLY
WORK COMPLETION
Should
the job be finished earlier than the agreed time due to
whatever reasons, the company is not obligated to
compensate the customer.
LIMITED
LIABILITY
The
Company will use best endeavours to ensure that all our
staff are careful with your properties and shall take
reasonable precautions against any damages. However, in
the case of any damage to your properties by our staff
due to whatever reasons, whether because of negligence
or otherwise, our liability for any damage to your
properties shall at all times be not more than Singapore
Dollars one hundred only. This clause does not
cover:
- Normal
wear and tear,
- On
site laundry and ironing/pressing,
- The
acts of God.
PAYMENT
Billing
will be made once every 4 weeks, payable in advance and
is for services rendered for 4 weeks. We shall receive
full payment within 7 working days from the date of the
invoice. In the event that payment is not received on
time, we may stop providing service immediately without
any notice.
CUSTOMER’S
RESPONSIBILITIES
The
customer is to:
- Grant
the company access to the premise at the stipulated
times.
- Have
someone present in the premise, if necessary.
- Provide
the company with the necessary equipment and
specific instructions should you have any objections
to the company’s standard cleaning procedures.
- Take
all reasonable precautions to protect valuables and
properties from theft and damage at all times when
our staff is at your premise to carry out their
work.
All
our staffs are insured against death and injuries (as
required under the Work Injury Compensation Act);
however, it is the customer’s responsibility not to
unreasonably expose them to dangers. The customer must
provide the worker with a safe ladder if climbing is
required, limited to a height of 150 centimetres.
TERMINATION
This
agreement may be terminated at any time by either party
giving the other one-month's notice in writing or the
equivalent of one month's rate in lieu of notice.
CLEANING
SPECIFICATIONS
The
Cleaning Specifications is to be used as a guide
governing the scope of our cleaning services. Completion
of work within the cleaning specification is limited by
the service time agreed per visit.
Regularly
(On Each Visit):
- Sweep
or vacuum and damp mop the floor
- Wash
bathrooms/toilets, washbasins, shower room and
bathtub
- Clean
glass surfaces and mirrors
- Dispose
all litter in waste bins
- Dust/wipe
furniture, pictures, kitchen cabinets/appliances
- Wash,
dry and store cutlery and utensils
- Clean
and tidy up all rooms
- Make
bed and change bed linen (please provide fresh set
of linen on the bed to be changed)
- Iron
and fold clothes.
Periodically:
- To
wipe oven, microwave oven, cooking hob and hood with
approved grease-remover detergent.
- Wipe
windowsills, grills, window panes where accessible
- Polish/wipe
doors
- Tidy/clean
interior of kitchen cabinets and drawers
- Wipe
fans, light switch
- Tidy
and clean shoe cabinets
Important
Notes:
- The
company’s employees may exercise their rights not
to hand wash laundry if requested.
- The
company shall not be held responsible for any damage
in the process of doing on-site laundry or
ironing/pressing.
- The
company shall not be responsible for moving heavy or
bulky furniture or appliances and for cleaning areas
not accessible by hands.
