1.Why I should pay more when there are
many other freelance maid out there in the
market?
We have a long list of reasons why
:
- There are a lot of foreigners who
are working illegally in Singapore and they mainly fall
into two groups - those on social visit pass or those who
are employed locally as domestic helpers. The work permits for
Foreign Domestic Workers only allow them to work
specifically for the employer whom has applied for her
work permit. If the offender is caught, not only will
she be repatriated, her employer will lose their $5000
bond and be slapped with a fine. An important down point
is that there are no
relevant authority you can turn to should incidents
occur as you are breaking the law by
engaging them.
- The local freelancers are mainly older workers, untrained and
uninsured. We are a registered local professional
home cleaning company and we are accountable and
responsible for our workers. Worker screening and
training ensure high quality services.
- We
provide proper documentation of all work done, in
detail, after each visit.
- All
our workers are covered under the
Work Injury Compensation Act (‘WICA’) which
came into force on 1 April 2008 replacing the
Workmen’s Compensation Act.

2. What are your working hours? What are
your cleaning times? What types of cleaning do you
do?
Monday through Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM.
Saturday
8:00AM-1:00PM
We are closed on Sundays and all major holidays.
Our Services are divided into Regular and AD-HOC.

3. Do you guarantee your
work?
Yes, as long as it's in our
benchmark/quantifiable tracking system.
Note that we do not
provide guarantee for One Time Job or AD-HOC Service as
it is time based and dependent upon the customer's
standard.

4. Do you give references?
Customer's information
should always be confidential and
need to be protected. Our customers want us to respect
their privacy. We suggest you give us a report card
after our service, after all, we guarantee our work.
All our Housekeepers have a contract with The Three
Monkeys (S) Pte Ltd to maintain and respect customer's
privacy. Failure to do so is immediate
dismissal.

5. Do I supply the cleaning supplies and
vacuum cleaner or do you?
That will
depend on you. Some clients prefer our dependable
professionals to bring their own cleaning products and
basic equipment. You don't have to have a headache choosing the
wide range of products such as cleanser, scrub brushes
etc.
However,
we strongly advise our customers to invest in a quality
iron, iron board and vacuum cleaner. Call us

6. Do I have to have my whole house
cleaned?
Not necessarily. We have a benchmark/quantifiable tracking system for
the agreed work
to be done.

7. Do you charge extra for the year end
spring Cleaning?
Under normal
circumstances, you will not need a spring cleaning if
you engage us for regular service for more than 6 months.
Spring cleaning is done at least three times annually.

8. Do you clean windows?
Yes, as long as it is within the coverage
of what is allowed in the Workman Compensation Act and
within the time paid for and allocated for the service.

9. Do you clean carpets?
We only vacuum carpets. We engage other
contractors to do the job if needed.

10. Do you do laundry (wash clothes) or
ironing?
Laundry
services can be arranged.

11. Do I have to be home when the
Housekeeper comes? Is it safe to leave my keys with
you?
The time taken to clean a home without
occupant is very much faster than when the client is at
home. This is translated into less time engaged and
money saved.
It is totally up to the customers whether or not to entrust their keys to us. Most
clients entrust us with keys to their homes as our
worker's turnover rate is very low, that means the same
worker clean your home all the time. Besides, our
key management system is as stringent as those practiced
by the best
security company in Singapore. As stated earlier, we
keep track of everything.

12. What if I'm not happy with the
cleaning?
We are so confident of our
services and guarantee to make it right within 24
hours on any complaints.
Just call us at 65 200 788,
we'll either make it up on the next visit, or send a
team back to your house at your convenience to take care
of it, or compensate you with one free cleaning visit. What we won't do is give you the run-around.
We go the extra mile to make sure you are more than
satisfied.

13. Do you bill a customer after cleaning?
We prefer advance payment in multiples of
four sessions by cheque as it is a wonderful way to
track the visits.
Alternatively, cash on delivery is
perfectly fine as our housekeepers will issue you a receipt
on the spot.

14. Will the same Housekeeper continue to
clean my home on a regular basis?
Our
worker's turnover rate is very low, that means the same
worker/s will clean your home each time.

15. Can I trust the people you send to my
home?
We are very particular about the
people we hire and we pay them well to keep them
honest. For this
reason, we are slightly more expensive that other
service providers.

16. Do I have to lock up my
pets?
Our Housekeepers like pets and are
happy to have them around, as long as the pets feel the
same way.
We'd like the opportunity to be introduced to
them by you on the first visit, if possible. We'll have all the information about
the pets and their needs on our benchmark/quantifiable
tracking system for future visits.

17. Do I have to sign a long-term
contract?
No contract needed. Our only condition is that you will
need to pay in advance. If you decide to terminate our
services, we'd appreciate as much notice as possible and
also if it is because of bad service, we want to know.
For
regular housekeeping customers who have been with us for
at least 6 months, we will refund to
you the amount paid, prorated in good faith.

18. Do I tip the Housekeepers?
We do not encourage you to do that as all
the Housekeepers are hardworking people and earning a
honest living. However, a red
packet during special occasions, like birthdays or
Special Holidays as a token of appreciation, will definitely make their day.
